1. What is the SoCal Originals Club---- This club was formed largely because there wasn't a club formed in south Orange County. We wanted to get a club going that consisted of mostly hard-core collectors, you know the type - those that hunt everyday 365 days a year. The reason for this is that these are the type of collectors that have a lot of info to share. This is not to say that the casual collector is not welcome, that couldn't be further from the truth! We feel that having a large group of hard-core collectors will benefit those that cannot hunt everyday. Having info to share with fellow collectors is what this hobby is all about, & we think we have established a good group of info sharing collectors with the formation of the SoCal Originals. Some of our members are dealers at Frank & Sons which is a hotbed of info, most of the newer releases will be found there first which means if a variation is showing up, we will know about it. Some of our members are Red Line collectors who hunt the internet everyday & are very aware of rare pieces that have become available or if entire collections are up for sale. Anybody who is thinking of starting a Red Line collection can benefit from these guys as well as an established Red Line collector. This club is centered on keeping our members informed & well educated in all aspects of collecting from what to look for to insuring your collection, we try to cover it all. We are committed to helping each other out & trying to make our meetings something to look forward to!

3. Where do you meet----Laguna Hills Community Center on Alicia Parkway & Paseo de Valencia. .Sometimes our meetings will be held at other locations.....example - BBQ's etc.
4. When do you meet---Every other month.
5. What other events do you have--- We try to keep it interesting, occasionally we will have a show/BBQ where we can all get together, exchange info, show off our latest finds & feast. We are currently planning a trip to the Peterson Museum in Los Angeles to view the upcoming tribute to Hot Wheels. We are always up for any suggestions at our meetings & if the members vote it in, it's a done deal....we go! We also are discussing including some kind of case cracking event during our upcoming meetings. Our first club race event will be going on at our next meeting in May & should be interesting, old skool garage style racing with trophys for the winners & we may include a race for pinkslips event where anything goes! We will occasionally have a big show where we will open the doors to the public & members will get free table space to sell any of their extras, these shows will be promoted in a big way. But the bootom line is this, whatever event is voted in by the members.....it's an event that will happen.
